Minilogue - My Teenager Gang

Marcus Henriksson & Sebastian Mullaert got back to Mule Musiq to produce another dub minimal hit! After “Animals” we may think that they would slow down on production but that’s not what happened. In fact their first release of 2009 brings more from the same: strong drums, deep basslines and some neurotic keyboard effects gathered with carefully chosen samples. In the A side you will listen “My Teenager Gang”, a dubby track, charged with lot’s of bass and some tribal elements: some birds singing, conga rhythms and some great world music chants leading you to the impression that you’re on a music safary around Africa. They all combine perfectly in the whole 10 minutes of this great production, it’s really a master exotic techno dub cut. On the flip “Hundraelva” bets on other kind of roots where synths make the difference. This one reminds me a lot “Hitchhiker’s Choice” or some Cadenza productions, jazzy tones are everywhere getting along with some hypno plastic surfaces ready to terr u apart!
This two tracks are some of the reasons of why i love Minilogue. They are able to do such different things always with pure quality. Their background on Progressive Psychedelic Trance must have helped them to create such different and good environments. If you like pure music don’t miss this Ep.

Minilogue - Doiicie

I start by apologizing to you for the lack of updates we have been having here in mnmland. June is a month full of work and besides we are working on a new page to present to you... But i couldn't pass without presenting to you a wonderful Ep that has been following me during the last few days. Doiicie is the last work released by Minilogue and as one of my favorite producers i decided yo show it here. I have it for a couple of weeks and i've been liking it more and more... Doiicie Ep has two nice tracks where the main key is the a_side! A monster track with the kind of rhythm that is know on Minilogue productions. A typical 4by4 track with a groovy underground beat where you feel like you are being told a story! Step by step it goes driving you into another dimension. In the B side you have the minimalist version of the track. If it wasn't for the voices i would say that this was a Richie Hawtin's kind of producer... thought the voice is a bit annoying but whatever, Minilogue has always nice standards that you all should appreciate! It's not a monster Ep from Marcus Henriksson & Sebastian Mullaert but is the one that i've been listening the most in this busy days. Released by Minilogue Germany and already played by Wighnomy Brothers, M. Tanzmann, DJ Koze, Sven Väth among others. Enjoy

Minilogue - Jamaica Ep

It goes through you and passes over you.
It's kind of a Reminder of some days, the better days :)

I will not give anymore information about Minilogue, I believe if you want, you'll just search the references on the internet, it's only data, lol!

Only have to say that this guy brings always the simplicity above, what else? Then.... well, just eats your neurons progressively :) in a powered.. Jamaica.

And a desynchronized rhythm in encounter with a "electronic harmony", peaceful music.. Totally the opposite of Jamaica. A melodic drive.. i'ts Hispaniola.

Simply, Jamaica Ep is the power and the after hours :D

Minilogue - Ghost

September, month of responsibilities... So I'm starting it by presenting to you a work of Minilogue - one of my favourite producers - and so far, one of their brightest productions! Ghost is a deep minimal techno music perfectly glanced by a groovy bassline and some deep chords that just don't stop floating around. Than in the b side you have the "beat tool" of the original making it an excellent dub techno berlin classic style music. If you want power, u have it here! Leave The "Dub mix" to the chill out moments...
Release nr 36 on Mule Electronic, once again presenting to the audience a top quality ep..
